Lifting weights

For the last week or so I ve been trying to research whats best for me for losing fat while lifting weights. So many programs out there. I dont know where to begin.

When I see a program it would have a barbell rack or a smith rack and the gym's I used dont have neither.  I guess I could change them for something else.

Two ppl from the 52DC community recommended one of the below:

Starting Strength by Mark Rippetoe is a great intro book for heavy barbell work

Greyskull LP

Huge in a Hurry
Men's Health Big Book of Exercises.
NROL for Life

Gonna be researching now about erm.

Stronglifts 5*5 Looks a good thing for beginners
