Still going up

I'm not sure whats going on. I think I know why Im not losing weight. I know I havent been so strict on my nutrition. I need to sort this out this week otherwise I can see Ill be over the 130kg mark at the end of Xmas.
I also think eating rice even if its brown rice on the evening meal isnt helping me, Ill start cutting that and see what happens

Sunday I didnt go to the party that would have cost 7000 yen even thou ppl said it they enjoyed it but they didnt eat much or drink much due to the watching of the video of Takeshi wedding. One person said that the company ran out of food and didnt refill. I'm so happy I didnt go coz i think i would be really pissed off to pay for so much and get nothing back.

Up a few

After my disappointing last week, I couldnt get back to my way again, I crashed the diet for 2 days go back to healthy ways. Then last night I hit the movie threater I eat cameral popcorn, drank soda, and eat bbq crisps, and icecream to top it off.  I didnt feel so guilty has b4. But I could definetly feel something different to my stomach, Maybe my figure of imagination but Im sure i felt fatter .

Same weight as last week

Same weight as last week. Im not really sure whats going on here. Could be due the amount of Green Tea I have been drinking or the fact that last week I went to Kappa Sushi and eat like 9 plates of the stuff. The day after I put a pound on but now Im back to the same weight as last week.

CANT BE DISHEARTED about it! MUST KEEP PLODDING ON


Lifting weights

For the last week or so I ve been trying to research whats best for me for losing fat while lifting weights. So many programs out there. I dont know where to begin.

When I see a program it would have a barbell rack or a smith rack and the gym's I used dont have neither.  I guess I could change them for something else.

Two ppl from the 52DC community recommended one of the below:

OTD: I generally go to my grandparents for Thanksgiving, but I missed out on that the last couple of year. But I'll be there for 4 days this year. One tradition I look forward to is always having a campfire sometime after dinner. Good times.

Us Brits don't have Thanksgiving Day, nor do the Japanese. Looks like another big roast I miss out on. Looks yummy too.

A different kind of thinking . . .

A question came up in the 52DC

QOTD: Have you given any thought to surviving the temptations ahead of you this week and during the up coming Holiday Season? What’s your plan?

My answer:

I know there will be about 6 parties to attend to.
Only two that I will go to and thats are my co-worker after party wedding and close friends party. The wedding is on the 9th of December. The other near the end of December

The close friends party I never miss. I can control myself here, not get too drunk. I like being tipsy I hate being overthetop drunk.

The wedding party I can control the booze but I dont think I can control the food. Paying 86$ dollars to drink and eat has much has u can in the 2hrs I really need to get my money's worth!!

Then trying to burn off the calories that week. I dont want to be go back and putting weight on esp at the Xmas time.

His answer:
Kojiiko: Strong progress. Paying top dollar or all you can eat - is a danger zone - even more so is the attitude that you need to get your money’s worth. You are throwing good money after bad. Enjoy the social time - that is what you are paying for.

After reading this, He is right my attitude isnt really good. I should just pay the dam money and just enjoy yourself has much has possible without overeating. Just be a waste on the progress that I have made so far......

Down 1 but still disappointed

Lost only 1 pound but still worth going for it. The problem that Ive been doing is that.  After Shorinji kempo I stop off at a 7-11 store and buy ice cream that turns into buying 3 cos it was so delicious. buying soda. Know that I did so well the week b4 I recently gone overboard.
I knew this would be coming after 5 weeks on my yo yo weight going up and down. I feel I need to get a grip of myself. The next day I weighed myself I gain bit of weight. I knew that I had to train hard to get my weight down for the following week.

Since that ice cream episode Ive been very good. The reason is that I dont go to the store and buy stuff. If I don't go to the store then I cant buy anything. Its that simple!!!
Even thou this week I lost a pound. I feel some what disappointed. I could lost a lot more only IF I had strong will and didn't eat so much ice-cream.

I've been going to the gym more often now. like 3 times a week rather that once every week.  Ive been reading that lifting weight boosts ur metabolism up. Build muscles that will burn more calories.

Another reason Ive started lifting weights, My body is soft, I have no biceps, triceps. The only muscle that i can feel is my calves and my thigh muscles. The rest is just behind the fat maybe LOL.
I said that I didn't like the upper body workouts. But my dad pointed out that u don't like it cos it hurts u. True true very true.
Just been abit worried on what training regime. I should start with. To lose fat or to build muscle.??
I know I should want to burn fat first but would build muscle be more suitable for me.
But to see muscle I need to burn fat first so I think I will be looking for that.

Under 20 stone

Yep I made it I got down to 19.6 stone (125kg) Its been a very long time for me to say Im very happy with myself. Thou for the last 5-6 weeks Ive been having a hard time getting the weight down. I havent been able to control myself esp with events that I have attended to. One piece of fatty foods turns into 6 or 7 >.<
Thou this last week or so Ive put my foot down and just eaten one thing. If I dont Ill just be stuck at this weight.

I have a point to prove now. Students at school are asking me have I lost more weight.
I'm a bit miffed, and a bit embarrassed when the students ask me to show them my muscles and I dont have any to show except for my legs or my calves my biceps are just still soft with fat.
This has given me more motivation to hit the gym more often.

Also I've decided to start learning about basketball and trying to do exercises that will help me jump higher. If I can shoot ok and dribble, plus the extra bonus when Im light enough Id like to dung. Just to show off so to speak.

My training thou. I need to research more. probably eat more protein than Im doing now is just trying to eat healthy food minus the junk food.

I also havent put photos of me on facebook until I reach my target weight. I wont but I keep saying that I should take photos every two months of myself but I havent yet >.<

Never buy them things again!!

Every week Ive been buying them gari gari icelolly pops. Only cost me 57yen u can either get Soda or grape 57 kcals flavour. Sometimes they release new favors like Pear, pudding, and the newiest one Chocolate but then the price goes up at 147yen. Also the calories goe up about 100 ckals.

Last night I bought them the new release of Chocolate, I didnt have enough money to buy myself one. I bought my daily does of cawshew nuts (45g). I'd thought I get a bite of the ice lolly just to see what the favor was.

I was so wrong after giving them it, I asked for a bite. Both said 'No' I just I wanted to taste the favor of the new icelolly 'No No No' ffs I just bought them for them.
Made me abit bad! Actually extremely mad!
My son doesnt even do this to me. Daigen and Kunon dont do this to me, (thou they used to do it b4).

Ive decided never to buy them snacks again! Sod them! I just come with my fruits and eat in front of them. I might even buy an icecream and eat it in front of them. Thats how pissed off I am
!

Cabbage soup diet

Was meant to post for the 27th of October

Thats really messed up!! on Weds of last week I was just over the 130kg mark.
Next week I might add a few kg coz Ill be back eating healthier food. Ill be eating my meats/fish again. All my fruits when I want to eat, no particular day!!

This cabbage works well but thank god its for only 7 days. Im peeing alot! Im not going hungry at all. Im eating alot of cabbage soup. I make my own with carrots, onions, cabbage,, Chinese cabbage and veg stock. I can eat vegetables, I add shitake mushrooms, leeks, cabbage, kinoki mushrooms, onions to the  pot with flavoured sesame soup


Ive been on this cabbage diet for the 4th day. This day I can eat up to 8 bananas and eat cabbage soup and drink milk.
TBH Its not very good for nutrients wise.
Yesterday I could eat has much fruit or vegetables has I want so I eat Shitake mushrooms, leeks, chinese cabbage, cabbage tofu and a packet of udon.

Day 5
Feeling very hot inside me
Allows u to eat up to 550g (200oz) of beef, or chicken and six fresh tomatoes. Ill eat them tonight.
So for breakfast I just eat chicken and celery.
Lunch will be cabbage soup broccoli stems, and chicken
Dinner chicken with tomatoes ;)

In the evening i went to kempo after coming I slept in the bath when I woke up it was midnight. I became really dizzy. I laided on the floor for a good 20mins. It was not a good feeling!!!

Ive been walking 5km every day too So Ill need to do another 2.5km tonight b4 kempo hopefully
Drink plenty of water they recommended to get rid of the acid from the beef but since Im not eating beef it wont matter but I still drink plenty of water anyhow

With only 4 hour sleep last night feeling abit shitty.
My stomach is tight, feeling hungry good thing I can eat all vegetables again

I feel down that I sorted cheated for a week, I feel that I have got abit of fabbyness around my chin area but looking at previous pictures its looks the same lol, just abit paranoid thats all.

driving

Drive to fast, Stop slowly, pull off slowly. Drive with two hands, take ur arm from outside the window. Driving too slow. WTF shut up!

I had this all through the journey to the builder/articuteter in Shinano.  I told her to drive then. She didnt
After going to the library. I must admit I pulled off a little fast. MIL moaned.
I lost my temper 4 times she mention my driving to chiho and then chiho moaned at me. I told her to drive she said no.
I told her 4-5 times u moaned about my driving, Can u please be quiet unless u want to drive. then please do so.
My wife got angry coz of my SHORT TEMPER I have
MIL didnt want to go to Yamada denki anymore
My wife was in a mood with me.
Its now late afternoon and still she is moody with me. My fault fuck yea always my fault!!

This all started when the motherinlaw phoned up at 7.30 this morning. Commanding that she wants to seat next to my son,. Does she really control our lives??

My wife says she cant drive soon coz of being 4 months pregrant.  Hmm let the motherinlaw drive then?
The problem I have is u tell me to do something and then moan about it. Im only going to rebel against u. Tell me to something in a nasty way Im going to rebel against u and do the opposite.

A weird week

This week at work I seem to have alot of free periods. Next week is test week and alot of teachers wanted to review want they did and explain about the test. So I needed and so they said I didnt have to come to the classroom.
That give me time to walk around and watch other teachers teach. I also went to the gym and played badiminton with other kids alot of fun.

The scales are going back down again

A happy soul I am. My scales read now 129kg (0.8 pounds lost)
Walking has helped alot. Cycling Im itching to get out.
This Sunday I hope to meet Yusuke and go for a cycle.

I think I need to hit them stairs and work hard in training. I set myself a target again.  To lose 5kg in 5 weeks, Ive been losing 1kg a week but thats might change due to the fact Ive started back to work and Im finding out that I dont exercise so much has b4 coz I have less free time. but we can always find free time ne
Waking up earlier going to be earlier, instead of watching tv, playing the computer I can be going swimming.
I havent been swimming for along time (6th of September). Even that I havent been going Ive still lost weight this weight and thats due just to walking.

So what does swimming actually do for me?

Other surveys by the Japanese government in 2002 presented a much larger figure of 850,000 people who can be classified as NEET, of which 60% were people aged 25 to 34.

I'm back and raring to go!

I would just like to say a big thanks to my wife! She pushed me to get out the house and stop playing wow in the mornings. U have time to go for a cycle!

For the last 2 weeks Ive been in a rut!  She been trying to motivate me to get out!

Since then I guess Ive been milking sayng I cant ride due to the pain, my diet been off, Ive been eating alot of icecream and a few packets of crisps over the last 2 weeks
Yesterday (24th) I ate, 1 pancake for breakfast then I ate apple sweet bread, sweetbean bread, a bun with alot of egg mayo and ham, Crawshew nuts, hi milk chocolate bar, pancakes in maple and margine.
Dinner I had pasta and mince and tomato sauce. 

This morning when I weighed myself I was down to 129.4kg. I have been looking maybe it was due to the fact I went cycling the day before. I went had been to bed early for the  last 3 nights.
I really dont know but the fact that I have been given this chance, to get down to 130kg.
Today i went out for a cycle too! I feel great, thou Im really fucked off now since after climbing up the hill to the top without getting off. I heard a ping and yet again my spoke broke.
I guess wear and tear of the bike with me pushing it harder and harder, and me getting less and less heavier its taking its toller. The lighter I am I hope I dont break so many spokes.

Gutted that Ive lost only a few!

I woke up played with my son, had to gave him a shower, he did a poo, another quick shower. My wife then gave me a haircut. Lol thats the only time to fit it in. Made my lunch to take to work.

Scaled myself.
Gutted to say the least that I lost only 0.4kg or 0.8 pounds. I know its still a lost and I still cant get it into my thick skill that its ok and that I should get so grumpy but I do . . .

At least Ive took a few cm's off my waist, hips and chest this month compared to last month ;)


GUTTED GUTTED GUTTED!
Unbelieveable I go out 15 mins earlier on Saturday morning, and I crash trying to avoid a car thats turn right.

I'm riding on the back roads, early in the morning. Zero cars on the roads. 15mins into my ride. Boom straight on of nowhere car thats turning right, I brake, I hit the ground, miss the car my inches. The old man gets out starts apologising to me.

Im still on the ground. Very pissed off lol. I can feel my right knee hurting, its not a deep cut but its like a carpet burn sort of cut graze both on my knee cap and just under. I get up check my bicycle and ride back on the bicycle only 10metres up the ride. I decide to check my whole body. I then just head back clean it up place my knee on a chair and ice packed it.

My wife said don't be such a nice guy all the time, u should have got his name, telephone number and address. If that was a Japanese person and u were in the car and he was riding his bicycle.. I'm sure they be milking it! (taking the advantage of what they could claim) oh well I know from next time ne.

In the evening its just sore and pretty hard to walk with the swollen of it.

Surburnt rides

JULY 17TH 137.2KG (21.605302 stone) 302.474 pounds lost 1.4kg or 3 pounds

Over the weekend I rode, over 70kms Sunday I rode with Yusuke but on the 3rd lap he got a puncture and we walked back to Seto taking us 1.5 extra hours. If he didnt get a puncture I wouldnt have been out in the sun that long and of course I would have got a sunburn but not has bad I have now.
Monday we out again to do 3 laps, of course he is late its normal for japanese ppl to turn up late
I wore a long sleeved Tshirt, place sunblock on my neck, face and hands. but i still think i need to buy gloves for the hands I cant really cover them up

Jun's back + below 140kg

Juns back Im sure he remembers me, he is walking a good 10 steps b4 he loses his balance. he loves picking up my phone and place in and out of the box.
Im abit gutted to have missed his very first steps and he be able to say 'da da or babababababa. . .
But he is back now so it dont matter.

When I goto work I was told that the first and 2nd period were free, plus my 3rd one is free anyhow so I had 3 hrs to kill I drove back home and spent some time with Jun ;)

139.6kg thats the weight it I made it so I can weigh at home now, very happy about that. No more waiting till just b4 9am so i can scale then weigh myself . I can scale early and eat breakfast earlier too.

Last week only hit the pool twice and did some walking didnt do any cycling only that Monday riding my bicycle back home from the repairs
I find it very strange that I lost nearly 3 pounds for doing such lack of exercise so to speak, thou I need to do them squats this week.
Lets hope the weather keeps nice and I can go out

itchy to get to 140kg

Yep been working at the end of the week, and weekend, from Monday till Weds/Thurs dont really do much exercise.
Its the 2nd week now that Ive missed a swimming section on Tuesday, (yesterday we did have a typhoon hit the shore of Japan and go over it. Advicer said that u should head home and be safe indoor and try not to ride in it if possible.

Went to be around 11.30. woke up at 2am I was boiling hot I wanted to wake up at 3am but its was so hot that I used the computer for a while. Then listened to England beat Ukraine 1-0 . ;)
Played shit I heard but now we play Italy in the Quarter -finals!

Measurements: waist 141cm, hips 123cm, thigh 70cm, chest 127cm, neck 44cm
The only change is my chest I've lost 4cm & hips 2cm

Even thou I feel that I only lost 0.8kg sounds not much but when u look it into pounds its actually 1.7 pounds which I'm pretty chuffed about. Even a pound a week is still good.
Last night we eat steak, sashimi of tuna and Mackerel

Im in the faze of loving Bruce Lee, we rented a movie out last night 'Dragon' The Story of Bruce Lee'. Hiro told me that he loves Bruce Lee and bought all his poster and even his book about kung fu. I was very surprised to hear this. He even made his own set of nunchunks!!!!
Now I want to read his books, buy his dvds for my own collection ;)
Probably rent out 'Enter the Dragon next week' :)

On Sunday arranged to meet a 3rd year student at Morikoro park and ride around together.
Yusuke is a nice lad, 3rd year lives in Seto near Seiyu and his English is pretty good. He asked if we could ride together.
We did 4 laps and he told me that I ride fast lol. I think I ride slow.

This week I want to do 5 laps around Morikoro Park the only time I can get to do it this week is probably on Friday coz i wont be finishing early at all any time. Only Friday is one period i have and thats 5th. Thou I have the morning off and if the weather is nice Ill go in the morning I think.

On Saturday night Hiro and Goto came over, I drank one beer, I needed to control myself because two weeks ago when I had a party at my house. I drank too much and ate too much!
This time round I behaved myself.
A new wager has arose, Hiro bet me that I have to be 120kg by this time next year so I said on Jun's birthday Ill be have reached 120kg or lower! Only 5000yen thou but its worth a night out on the free ne!


Sunday morning having a guilty mind, I decided to hit Morikoro park via 4 laps could have gone more, actually i know I could have gone more, but had to get back to see Jun on skype b4 his bedtime and the internet weather said that we would be having showers.
Im abit gutted coz i could have gone further. In the evening I went swimming.
Just have to remember that the pool at the weekends are open from 10am to 6pm
and weekdays from 2pm till 8pm with Wednesday being closed!

Yesterday was a Bad hair day

Very happy at the moment to see my weight going down. Ive added stone to the weigh in, so ppl from the U.K can understand it better

Monday is probably my longest day for working. I really dont want to be waking up early and going for a walk/cycle.
Thou I still wake up at 5.30 but I just relaxed and cooked my lunch. Prepared for my breakfast coz i cant eat it until Ive weighed myself in school!!

This week is 40mins classes so we finish at 3.05pm
Hopefully if Wednesday is sunny I might be able to fit a ride in. But recently its been to warm and that sun is too hot for me, I will easily get sunburnt. I need sunblock or a very big baggy long sleeved t-shirt to come me.

NEVER GET UR FRIEND TO CUT YOUR HAIR FOR YOU. THE ONLY TIME U ASK IF IS WHEN U WANT IT ALL OFF!!

Hiro came around early Saturday morning, had a shower at my house, I cooked him baked beans and poached eggs on toast.
He then cut my hair at first i thought he done a good job, but when my wife and my mother saw me on Skype they told me if was awful esp on the sides. So I took some photos and to my horror it was. It was like some one place a basin on my head and cut around it.
I asked him to cut it, since I was going to Nagoya on Sunday for a tournment (shorinji kempo)
On Sunday after kempo i left around 1ish and headed to the barbers near our home.
I took my hat off and asked if he could try to fix it and make it the side and back look natural.
he took over 40mins to do it, I also go a full shave and shampoo afterwards. Very relaxing!!!

We went then and drove to Nagoya castle so I could remember where I have to park. If I wake up at 4am on Sunday morning have a shower get there for 5am Im sure to get a space on the side of the road. On the way back home i became so sleepy. i dropped off Hiro headed home. Washed some clothes and fell asleep for 2hrs woke up.
Needed to use the toliet to have a poo became very hot and sweaty, the sweat was coming out in bucket falls I could feel I was going dizzy. I finished the toilet and then just layed down for a while still feeling dizzy. I got back on the loo faning myself and telling myself not to faint!
After a while I felt abit better. I phoned our mom on skype and told her what happened she said its either u had high blood pressure or low blood pressure. I thought it could have been the sashimi I eat that breakfast then followed with cooked salmon maybe the combintion isnt good. Or the fact I was very tired.
I havent told Chiho its pointless for her to get more worried when she in Canada.

Sunny day

Im so happy got my day off that day coz of sports day at work. I decide to go cycling!! at Morikoro park. The weather was sunny with a cool breeze out. I know either before I get there its like 5km and one massive hill to climb ( at the moment Im still walking up it)

Got to the top of that hill, rode abit then I have to get off the bike then to walk down to the cycling circuit, cant ride ur bike in the park >.,< stupid rule I know.

Started off doing one lap after near the end for some silly reason I got off and started walking and its not even a hard part of the circuit. DO u believe it only Tim the semi pro, rode pass me lol he shouted get ur ass moving. Which then motivated me to get my ass moving.

The 2nd lap I asked if i could leave my bag with the people taht work at the cycle rental shop. They said there were free lockers that I can leave my bad in. Oh thats awersome, my ride now will be bit easier without by bag. Even more super happy!!

On the 3rd way around he came up and spoke to me for a while we rode together we talked about the clipless pedals and he then tubro boost off again.

I did my 4th could feel it burning now, much hard to push meself.
I eat my banana and then bought some more water and he came over. He asked if I was going to the party tonight, but I said no I have to prepare for Sunday tournment for Shorinji Kempo.

On the way home wasnt so bad, took a shower and then went to Kappa sushi where the sushi is only 100yen ;) Ate alot of sushi tuna!! Need the protein, eat like 12 plates

That Monday 21st

After coming back from work around 7.30pm i didnt have the motivation to go for a walk. I made dinner watched some TV and went to bed very early. The plan was to wake up at 5am and go for the cycle but that then happened the weather is abit dodgy.
TBH I think Ive just got abit of lack of motivation after not losing so much weight this week. I know it happens but its such a downer. I really need to get back into things.
Today is meant to finish on the 4th period at the moment its overcast but could turn into rain anytime. They will prepare for sports day and Weds is meant to be off. I know Weds is sunny but it all depends on today. I think i will be having 5th and 6th period just depends on the bosses mind ne.

If we finish early then I can head back home go for a cycle and then a swim and then ready for kempo in the evening.
Then Weds i can just go for a cycle ;) but really depends on what happens at lunch time ;)

Gutted

My weigh in this week: 147.2kg (BMI 37.5) BMI 39.5

I cant believe it, Ive lost 0.2kg that week what a waste the only think i could think of is I eat too much beef and eat many curry for lunch and dinner on Sunday.
Really piss me off I hate it coz I feel I have wasted a week, I really thought I would have lost some. Ive been swimming twice, Ive walked over 18 miles and cycled yesterday around 18miles too. Just have to work hard and not eat curry this week and certainly no beers!


Last week just gone I could have gone to 3 parties but I attended only 1, thats one was at my house with Hiro. My other two friends had prior arrangements.
Still it was a nice relaxing night, we ate beef, I made a curry, rice, we had tomatoes, lettuce, and sliced onions, I drank beer while Hiro drank Japanese rice wine.
We watched a movie called 'Real Steel' but Hiro said not sci-fi I said just give it a chance, He was happy that he did . . avery nice movie, He kept saying it was like Rocky
This week I push myself and did alot of exercise due to the fact I might have to go to a party and didnt want to waste a week and not lose any weight. I know I have to treat myself once in a while but I think like keeps me on track!

Our Mom said to make mini goals and try to lose half a stone per target. So thats what Ive been doing. It seems Ive been losing about 1kg or 2.2pounds per week.

Ive added cycling again to my exercise plan, just doing mostly flat work. no major hills at the moment. I dont want to have another swollen knee. Step by step working on the cycling.
I prepare to be riding early in the morning so no-ones seens my builders bum :)
It's nice & cool too at that time.
Also Ive been thinking to add walking up my stairs at the mansion that i live in (thats 15th flight of stairs). Just start off small and just do it one time and every week or so add another set. Lets see how it goes first.

Ill try it today (Monday) after my walk but today is the longest day I have 6 classes Ill finish at 4.15pm then I go to do private lessons from 5.30 to 7pm. Come home have some dinner and then go for a walk. I might be tired, I might not be but Ill try and find some enegry to do so!!

Ive also started to write down on what I eat. I dont take the calories some packages in Japan dont have the nutrients written on them and i cant be arsed to go on the net and try to find them.

Posting a day early

I thought it was pointless weighing on the Wednesday when really the start of the week is a Monday.
So I ll be weighing in on Monday will be the best time.
Im still weighing in at work. My scales still dont work coz im still too heavy.
I've actually had to work hard in trying this week the week upcoming. I have a party to go to.

Mostly last week I have been walking to do exercise the wind is alittle strong and when I go out on the bike its can be extremely hard to pedal against it.
TImKUN did say thou, that the circuit is designed to cut the wind out and so u wont get much wind up at Morikoro cycling circuit.

Tbh still abit worried about my knee. Ive added swimming into my plan, been trying to swim more than 1km either doing breast stroke or front stroke.  I think doing front stroke burns more but sometimes I go and do breast stroke just to have a little breather.  Im just swimming in the 25m pool but tend to hit the 50m pool in a month or two. Im normally go for free with MIL but since she is in Canada i bought 11 tickets for the price of 10 for 8000yen.


Next week, I have two parties that I meant to be attending at work, 1) Welcome party for all English teachers and 2) welcome party for all part time teachers. 2 parties in 1 week ouch. Thats going to ruin my healthy eating. Ive decided to go only to the party for all English teachers.
Drink has much has u can within the 2hrs u have.  Ill definetly be watching my way.
Our friend Bob said his trick is to drink a beer then drink a pint of water and then drink  beer and another pint of water!! Ill be trying to that if i remember lol.

I actually spoke to my son, , on Saturday, it was great seeing him. Its been nearly 6 days since I saw him. It brought me alot of joy to see him. I think he remembers me, if not me but he remember me singing to him. I miss him buck loads!
I thought he had changed alittle not really in his face but in his actions he seemed to be doing alot of hand movements also he seem to holding the bread and take bite by bite.

I prefer to be weighed in stones and pounds rather than in kg, it feels like I've lost more when I see more numbers.  1kg is about 2.2 pounds.  Actually I thought I was about 3 pounds LOL seems not so bad now.

My right knee been swollen since early Thursday morning. Ive taken tables to reduce the swelling and place an icepack on it and kept it high (placing a few pillows under it)
Been wanting to go out and exercise and having to wait patiently for it to feel better.



Sunday, my wife and my son, were flying out to Canada with MIL, I picked her up and took her to the coach stop.  It was abit hard to say goodbye.  I wont be seeing them for another 5 or 6 weeks now.  ;(
In evening I went for a walk for about 8km. I needed to get some strength in my legs.  I played Dance central for awhile but eventually got bored.   Stayed up to watch the football of Man city and Newcastle. Man city won it in the 2nd half thank god

Long weekend b4 Golden week hits

My weight in this week: 149.8 (BMI 38.1) BMI 40.2 Nice long weekend I just had!

Norimasu came back too. We had Lunch in our home on Sunday. The whole family came Chiho had cooked by hand Torittial wraps, bought some salsa, cooked off mincemeat with peppers, used raw onion diced, mini tomatoes, stringy cheese, avacoado. Yuki bought vegetable salad soaked with Yuzu wasabi and vingear and spare ribs flavour orangy! We had one big one and a small one! It was a very good afternoon. Also made Norimasa his facebook account so he be able to see Jun kun photos more often now.

We talked about his bicycle that he just spent 30万 on a Trek Madone 4.7 ( the same one that Lance Armstrong uses) He choosed it because of the colour and the design and not because of the owner! He also purchased, clip shoes and clip pedals, We should go cycling together I first need to lose more weight. Cycle further! and cycle up hills! At the moment I get half way up and stop coz im out of breath, my legs are burning and Im nearly dying. Bad excuse I know but Im trying I am. When I get down to about 130kg then Ill push it, Ill be 30kg lighter too ;)


I thought I had Tuesday off today! It was meant to be a sports test for the students at school. I hit the bed at 12 .30pm but Jun had stolen my spot. I didnt want to wake him up so I slept in the living room (such a nice dad i am ne) I woke up at 4.30am to listen to the 2nd half on the Manchester Derby game Man city vs Man utd. City scored in the 1st half. 1 nil the final score to Man city. They both on same points and City are not due to goal difference! City have only to win the last 2 games and they are crowded champions but they play Newcastle (are on form at the moment and QPR are fighting relegation troubles)

Sorted out the PCRM forms, sent a scan to PCRM for the hormone blood work from the wife. Then found out that I had to work today,

Only 4 hrs sleep dayo!! Jun woke up at 6am and then I went for my normal morning walk!!

Phone earlier

Today plan was to go swimming with MIL after she gone with my wife and my sons'to collect his passport. I got home at 2.45 and waited for them, but they never phoned and when I phoned them at 3.20 they will still in Toyato SHOPPING!!!! FFS at least they could have phoned me I could have gone out earlier!! That Hill was a killer up to Morikoro park. There is no way around it. I can come from 3 directions and all have massive hills to climb. Im knackered before I even get to the park! I arrived at the park just after 4pm they guy said I was safe!! WTF? It closes at 5pm Im ok but it appears that u have to enter the cycling course b4 4pm and then u can ride until 5pm. If you get in after 4pm they wont let u ride! So I made it in the nick of time. It seems it takes me 20mins to go round the 5.1km It takes Tim (semi pro cyclist 10mins to go around) This dude is a Man City fan Im sure I have spoken about him before. Tomorrow, if my ass stays ok Ill try to go in the morning and try to do more that 2 laps!! Just something to get off my chest! When I have a meal esp dinner. I need something more that Miso soup and rice, I really need some protein, or some fish or chicken. Soup and rice aint going to cut it!!!

RIP Judith dad'S

I heard from Terry last night that Judith dad's pass away Sunday morning. Ive sent him my consedences.
Callum will surely miss him alot.
Even thou I wont send my result to Terry because of his crappy weekend Ive still recorded my lost this week.

The long weekend

Last week been pretty good. On Thursday I ate a curry with two Nann breads after that I felt guilty and then decide to walk the sakura circuit twice. I already walked it once in the morning. So thats 3 times I walked it just under 11km. Tbh I was knackered after that. I soaked in the bath and fell asleep.

I woke at 1.30am to find my wife sleeping in the living room. The problem was that I woke up on Friday at 5.30am for the care of my son who decided to wake up early.
At 9 I went to play table tennis with MIL and did 20 lengths in the pool before heading to work.
Sleep soon caught up with me after Shorinji Kempo, driving back I fell asleep at the wheel. I pulled over and fell asleep in the car. Woke up around 1.30am abit shocked to have slept so late and head home. Of course my wife wasnt worried. She was fast asleep with my son.

Saturday, I thought it was about time to buy a new seat for my bicycle. Im sick and tired of getting a sore butt from cycling. 6300yen it cost me has I rode down to Bike Kazu (fun bikes) He fitted it for me. I also bought a bag which he said he gave me a discount on since its last season model but its seen to be only 300yen discount, I told him I would collect it on Sunday since Ive going up to Morikoro park to try out the new cycling circuit that they built. 7900 for a messager bag seems to be tad expensive. Where I could buy other things that I really need instead.
I also bought a present for Ychan and pink leon light that u fit on your tyre valve that when it spins round makes ur wheel go pink. And since she is into pink I thought that would be an ideal present.

Thou, now im thinking of getting my money back off the bag since I really have one and probably buy something else instead like a mutlitool kit.

Morikoro park it was surprising very good. You can even rent bikes out there for 100yen, On weekends roadbikes arent allowed allowing families to ride on there safety. At the beginning of the track there is a yellow zone about 10metres long where U have to get off and walk with ur bicycle to the starting line and then ride on it again. But i think its just for safety has many young kids and parents are getting on there bikes.
At the weekdays I presume that the yellow zone ban is then free to ride all the way around and keep riding without getting off.
There is a slight hill at the start of the circuit and then u go around u hit apart while u are going down abit and then u hit a hill where if u pedal hard enough u dont really struggle with the burning sensation of the lacid acid builting up!!
At the end u hit a long hill but its not that really steep. I do like the course and tend to spend my time there burning the calories and hopefully to go around it 10 times ;). The only snag is that to get there is a major hill to climb and so far I've just go off the bicycle and walked up it >..<

Srping Vaction 2012

It was an awersome time, I kept my word of cycling but not really everyother day. Actually not that much. But while my mother and my friend Terry came over we travelled and walked alot.
Terry always suggested to me that Im bigger than him in weight and we suggested that to lose the weight both of us would scale ourselves ever week and send the results to each other. we would lose it in weight in kg but in BMI which to be fair is alright with me. I would have to need to lose 60kg while on the other hand Terry would have to only lose about 45kg to be the idea weight.
Like i said many times b4 its all to do with will power!
ive joined back up with the 52DC at mensheatlh usa forum. And pushing myself to do exercises.
Im trying to cycle more but the exercise is putting me off due to the hard saddle giving me a sore bottom!
Today Ill get home around 3pm so I might go up to Morikoro park and see the bicycle circuit there that Tim-san has been on about. Need to clock in 20kmiles which is about 12 miles ;) (which is basically going from my ex-house in Castle Bromwich to Birmingham city centre

I did that back in the hay-day so Im sure i can do it again ne!!

Mantenbo Hot springs

Getting up so early in the morning for Hot springs is pretty hard esp when your sleepy and u want to sleep more. Driving takes about 20mins to get there but once ur inside ur happy that u went. I always meet Hiroyuki there he works about 20mins from there but he has to pass there to get to his home.
Its a good Hot springs since it opens at 6am and only cost 400yen. You can stay in as long as u like. We tend to hit the sauna for 25-30mins. Thats if we get in at 6am its still only warm while it gets heated up if its after 6.30 then its only 12mins.
Recently I head for the cider bath and he heads for the electrictly bath. I have never been in that Im too much of a chicken to enter it

My cycling boom

I'm back into cycling again. I just have to get rid of the fear of riding with and getting a sore bottom. Im having troubles still with that hard saddle.
Tim, a guy that lives in Seto (from Manchester, man city fan) is now a semi pro cyclist. His bike cost of a 100man yen, I dont know how much it is in English pounds but I guess nearly 8000 pounds I think. I just think but if he wins a race he gets that much in return. Thats what I heard anyhow
I and him have been writting messages alot on facebook and offered to go out with my one a cycle ride next week. The foolish thing I said was I promise I will. So now I have to train my sorry ass and go for a ride!
I plan to head up to Kaze fun bike shop and ask him to have a look at the light or just buy a new front set also I want to buy a pump for my bike.
I plan to ride my bike in the spring vacation everyother day.

Supporting Chubu Basketball

First time this season I went to support Chubu basketball.
I heard that the first game was going to be the hardest out of the two games that they were playing.

The first team basketball clothes they wore pink >.< and had a very tall black guy from Senegal but he was really skinny.
The game went into extra time and they won by steals 5 points
They had another 2hours for a rest b4 they played the 2nd game which were a much easier team but in the first quarter they were behind 15points and never really caught up.
Lee (chinese boy) very tall, but he travelled too much causing the other team to overturn the ball. I think he has to be more cleverer in future games.

I also saw a lack of consecration when returning back to defense.

Even thou we had alot of support the crowd where very quiet when losing, this is where they should be loud but I wonder does supporting from the fans really have an effect on the players?

In the evening I had a slight fever 37.4 my throat was sore, my voice was rough and my desire to eat anything was thrown out the window

Buying a home

We have been searching for the last 9 months for a new place to live, land over here is expensive alot more expensive
We saw some land which has a very old house on it. My wife and MIL decided to neg a price for it, after a week the agency got back to us and told us that the son wants to sell it to us but the mother cant make up her mind. She dont want to sell it to a gaiijin (foreigner).
Bloody stupid. Japanese so prejudice and racist esp old people hopefully she will come round otherwise we still be looking

18th and nothing do

Thats right ive been kidding myself that im on the way to losing fat but im not. My wife said she wont help me, I think she is fed up of me being fat and fed up of telling me off all the time not to eat that, or go out for a walk
